Sage Publications FERPA Statement
Sage supports higher educational institutions by providing certain educational services including courseware through Sage Vantage, online learning through Sage Campus, and interactive learning through Hubro Education.
Sage acknowledges that students and/or institutions may provide Sage with personally identifiable information (PII). Sage further acknowledges that to the extent applicable it will be considered a “school official” under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Sage respects the privacy of individuals and agrees to comply with all applicable provisions of FERPA, and its regulations, 34 CFR Part 99, in collecting and processing PII. Sage further agrees to comply with the non-disclosure requirements and restrictions on the re-disclosure of PII set forth in FERPA and to use and restrict access to student PII only for the purposes for which it was disclosed to Sage and subject to the limitations and restrictions applicable to school officials under FERPA.
