How do I know what's left to complete in a module for it to get marked as complete?

If you wish to check if a module/lesson is complete, please follow the below instructions:

These instructions are for all courses with the exception of Introduction to Text Mining. Instructions to check which module and lesson is incomplete in our Introduction to Text Mining course are located at the bottom of this page.

  1. To check which module is incomplete in a course, navigate to the course overview page. You can do this by selecting the “continue” button for the course on your dashboard:
  2. On the course overview page, each module is listed, and your progress is displayed. Here, you will be able to identify which module is incomplete:
  3. Your module progress is based on whether you have interacted with every element within the module. You can check this by selecting the progress window in the upper right-hand side corner of each page within the module:
  4. Once each element of a lesson is complete, a green tick will appear next to the heading. Check that each lesson of the module has a green tick. The module should then appear as "100% complete" on the course overview page:

Introduction to Text Mining

Our Introduction to Text Mining course is the only exception to the above. Progression for this course is not based on learner interaction.

  1. Lessons within a module will only be marked as complete once you select the button at the end of the lesson page:
  2. You can check your progress within a module by selecting the “Progress & Resources” tab on the right side of the screen:
  3. To complete a module, you must select the following button at the end of the last lesson:
  4. This will then mark the module as "100% complete" on the course overview page:
